ideas 4 Gettin my 150g stocked

So I know there are a plethora of these kind of threads but I this plan is a little diff so I'm looking for opinions. First got this tank from amazonfishkeeper, right on for the hookup buddy! second after taking with jason I realized I liked the idea of about 6 discus for visual appeal plus lookin to.add a fire eel. My question is what sa/ca could grow to 10-12" without disturbing the discus? I plan to have black sand, drift wood and some plants too.

Well I may scratch the idea of discuss then, I originally thought I wanted a solitary fish but I think it rather go community. What sort of colorful sa/cas could I put together that could gell with a fire eel? I like firemouths, ebjds, green terrors too visually.

Cardinal Tetra, Rummy Nose, or the Neon Tetras they would make good tankmates but they need to be in schools

i think a 125 tank is great for many kinds of pairs.if you buy a group of 5-8 small fish,grow them out till a pair forms.you would need to re-home the spare fish.the pair will kill the others if you leave them.use fast target fish like SD,rainbows,giant danios.you could try:texas,green terrors,many viejas,freddies,etc.keeping it a species tank
