i have to write a paper realting animals to the field of chemistry...i cant think of anything and i have four days to think of a topic and write my outline for it so if anyone thinks of any ideas please share them with me...thanks.
Something with venom, maybe? or perhaps something concerning the slime coat of amphibians? Just throwing stuff out there; I got C's in all my chem courses.
right on vicous thats pretty cool...ill see if i can find a bunch of chemical jargin that supports it from more then one site that was a cool article...
i have also looked into the "Contortrotatin" extracted from cooperhead venom being used to retard the growth of breast cancer cells/tumors...some pretty cool stuff
for what kind of yellow were you looking at.
All toxicology stuff would interlink with chemistry. Digestion and the way food is broken down would be related to chemistry also (metabolic rates).
Also yolk hormone levels in eggs maybe something you can look out, I'm not sure.
There was a recent development towards Diabetes in a hormone in Gila Monster venom.
You could also investigate monitor venom, possibly talk to Brian Fry.
