I've got this 55 Metaframe display setup that I'm working on that includes a 10 gallon on the lower shelf. I have a couple ideas of what to put in it if I do it as an aquarium, but I haven't gotten it to stop leaking yet, so I'm also considering doing a terrarium as a back up.

I've got mealworm and dubia colonies going, so I'd prefer something that can be fed from those, but it's not an absolute requirement. So far, I'm thinking a chubby/painted frog or a small gecko. Any other cool ideas?

Have you considered crocodile skinks? T

hey stay fairly small and can be kept in a 10 gallon; they look pretty cool, too. Another plus is that they prefer cooler temperatures (room temperature on the cool end and upper 70's/lower 80's for the basking area) and are primarily nocturnal, so you don't have to worry about buying any special lighting.

A crocodile skink would be pretty cool. I did finally get the tank to stop leaking, so I may still go with fish. It will be at least a couple weeks before anything goes in it either way cause money is a little tight right now.

Right now, I'm thinking some shell dwellers, but once I rehome my bigger turtles, their tank may become an African tank and free up this tank again. In that case, I will probably go with some croc skinks
