I want to build a basic but secure rack for 2 large fish tanks. Everything I find are for cupboard stands for a singe tank. And looking at them designs It would take up the place for the tank on the lower shelf. I would like the bottom tank to be at least 1 foot off the ground. My tanks measure about 84″L x 24″H x 24″W And I would like to stack them if I could. Does anyone have any idea how I could do this with 2x4's or something? Thanks

Whan I look at normal aquarium diy stans. Thwy ahow putting a 2x4 under the horizontal top frame along the legs. Because the weight of the tank will be on the rim of the stands frame. But if I did that.... I would not have the room for another large tank under the top tank.

Any ideas?

Do you like working off of ladders? LOL! Starting one foot off the ground, the top of your highest tank will be around six or more feet tall. Best solution would be to have a metal rack made.
