Ideas for a 30gl? need help stocking!

I have a 30 gallon tank and I am trying to figure out what to do with it. Anyone have any ideas? I am thinking of either 1 large(ish) predatory fish...maybe two, or multipl small schooling fish. What should I stock it with? any ideas?

Also, if I just do a larger fish or two it doesn't necessarily have to be predatory either. I am open to any suggestions!

Maybe a school of guppies? Neon tetra's? An oscar? Convicts? Just chucking in some suggestions. Are you going to upgrade later on?

No I will not be upgrading. I will have a 300 gallon tank with some bichirs, aros, and gar.

This is just something I want to have for some extra fun

i am either gunna be turning my 29G into a planted with a few rams and tetras or a half land half water tank with some frogs, crabs, and a mix of small fast fish

I would go for a pair of convicts for the fun of it! They are easy to keep and breed like crazy so you get some free food for your predatory fish.
Or you can keep some pretty fish that are peaceful like Discus?

Predatory fish....or a schooling small fish....get both and get some exodons

covicts, ellioti, apistos, acaras, firemouth, festivus or combinations of those, or angels with a school of tetras or similar, or a small group of african cichlids.

Single erythrinus wolf fish, or a school of exodon paradoxus.
