ideas for a 40 gallon

Hi,

I was wondering what are some good fish to keep in a 40 gallon tank?

I wont have a chance to upgrade the aquarium so I would sell the fish that i grow out of the tank. So, I would be ok for fish to grow out of the tank, but I wouldn't want them too grow out of it too fast. So what are some good fish to keep in here.

Also, I live in Argentina and there are not too many choices. Most available fish are African Cichlids, so with this in mind, what are some good ideas.

Why don't you do a riparium with a riverine cichlid like the Acei :3
