Ideas for a Red Devil Aquascape

Im trying to figure out a way to make my 75 gallon tank look as natural as possible. It houses a 11" Red Devil. Obviously real plants are not going to happen. It doesnt have to be a central american biotope but i dont want clay pots , scuba divers etc
Any ideas ? If you have pics of your RD or oscar tank that could give me ideas i would appreciate it thank you.
 
I want to do my rd tank over and i was thinking of painting the back black and adding pool filter sand with driftwood. Saw alot of tanks on here with it and looks really good. Natural looking as well.
 
I have a black background and i bought 50lb of black sand which i think makes his colors look brighter but im stuck for what to place inside. He even moves a large piece of driftwood like its nothing !
 
ya my rd's are the same way. they move everything where they want it. You get attacked when you clean?
 
Ha ha yeah ! i adopted mine at 10" so it was a shock to me when i put my hand inside and he bolted at me and nipped me ha ha .....im 32 and i screamed like a little girl LOL:ROFL:
