Ok, I am going to be rebuilding some cages, and will have a rather large wire bird cage empty. I think it would be neat to do a nice open-air arboreal setup.
I will keep the cage in my reptile room that has an ambient temperature of 70-80 depending on what time of day and time of year it is. For humidity I will be using a fogging mist type humidifier, Heat will be strategically aimed heat lamps/ceramic fixtures. Will be using flourescent UV lighting. Not sure about live plants or not, depends on what I go with.
The cage measures about 6' high, by 3' wide, by 2' deep. Bar spacing is 3/8"
What would you put in this? What would you do with it? I was thinking of putting plexi on the back and side walls to help keep the heat/humidity enclosed.
