Im trying to figure out a nice DIY way to heat a big tank 340 gallons. The fish room I have gets very cold in the winter. Im wondering if there is a way of using my houses hot water heater as a way to heat my tank ? Is there a way to run the water through the water tank and back into the aquarium ? Thanks in advance for any help.

umm if you have a sump you could probably do something with your hot water heater. However i would advice to heat the room and then add just some heaters in the tank
