i have a tank with a south american amazon type theme 400 gal. 14 inch RB pacu, 4 albino oscars 7-9 inch, 2 fully grown cascadura ( strange amoured catfish) 3 misc. small cichlids and various scavenging fish but long story short i was wondering if any1 had any ideas for hiding spots for larger fish i have some pvc 8 inch elbows smaller pipe for the various small fish but decorations are very expensive in my area and live plants are in my opinion too messy they constantly restrict the waterflow of my homemade canister filter ( bucket + pump lolz)

hmm i guess what else?? rather if it displaced less water anyone else??
flower pots ill look into that prolly throw a few in .....

i had a spot in my 75 gal that we dug a hole in the gravel which was 3-4 inches thick and set up thin slabs of rock to make a cave, we did this next to the glass so that we could see the whole inside of the cave that even though the fish were hiding they could still br seen by you

thnx everyone but i was wondering i have a 400 gal with 1 tiger oscar 14inch and 4 albino oscars 7-9 inch 4 small misc. cichlids i 16inch pacu
