I have days 2 move a fully set up 150 gallon aquarium. The urgency is due to the fact that "I just have to move the tank" was told to me today.
The tank is slightly planted with sand and has a 12in Arowana, 8in Peacock Bass, and 2 Oscars (8in and 6in).
I don't know how I'm supposed to move the tank without draining it, but if i drain it i have nothing to do with the fish. But theres no way i can move it as it because 1 gallon of water weighs 8 pounds.... 8x150=1200 + sand and equipment. I mean i like to think I'm a big guy but I'm not moving 1200 pounds out of my room anytime soon.
Any suggestions?

I'd go by goodwill and get some of their plastic tubs for the water and fish. You will need a buddy or 2 or 3 to lift the tank and or stand. Goodwill usually has tubs from people droppin stuff off. Other resale shops too. The tubs will be cheaper than brand new and work just as well.

Are you moving it across the room down the hall or down the street? When I moved my 220 I did it by myself I put the fish in coolers the substrate in 5 gallon buckets and pushed across the room took a day but it worked but my tank is acrylic... And I didn't have plants but you can do it

How far are you moving the tank? Can drain it like 75% if you have a few friends that can help if you arent moving it far
