Ideas For My New 55

I just got a new 55 gallon tank and i need some suggestions, ideas, or persuasive photos to help me decide how to set up my tank. I was thinking either a turtle tank or puffer tank...

puffers are way better than turtles but not the best choice tho. turtles are the dirtiest animals out there pluss theres a possibility of salminallia

I have wanted to start a tank of African fish. NOT African cichlids! I would do a school of Congo Tetras, a couple of African Butterfly fish, African Knife, Sengal bichir, and maybe a small Synodontis cat. Just an idea, quite feasible for a 55g in terms of the size of fish to fit.

i would do like a semi-planted tank. Like some areas planted, some fake plants, and drift wood. then do like congo tetras, rainbows, red and blue columbian tetras, clown loach, and maybe a angel or two.

It really comes down to personal choice, one person's dream is another's waste of a tank (I like goldfish but most people want something a lot more exotic). How about a list of options that you would like and we could tell you which of those would be best or most appropriate.
