Ideas on black aro tank mates?

I'm looking for some non traditional black aro tank mates. I am beginning to shop for my custom build monster tank, probably 7x2 or so. Only for sure stock is a black aro and my pbass. My idea is:

Black Arowana
Juruenese Catfish
short body mono pbass
And
???

I want something mid swimming, but throw out some ideas, other than silver dollars, barbs or loaches.

Flagtails are nice. You need to reconsider tank size though, 7x2' will not be adequate for a full grown black aro.

Juruense cats are wonderful fish. Mine doesn't bother anyone.

What size fish will an arowana try to eat? All I see is "any fish that will fit in it's mouth", although I can't find any pictures of it actually swallowing anything that big? I have seen some people say 1/3rd to 1/5th body size, but I've seen lots of fish with arowana that are clearly smaller.

Assuming a 36-42 inch Arowana...

So, an 8 inch Severum is safe, but a 10 inch Peacock eel might not be, for instance?

Wow I forgot about flag tails. They are an amazing fish. Are the a shoaling?

Brycons don't quite have the flash id like with already 2 silver and black fish. It's too bad the orange chromide doesn't get bigger.

The tank will probably end up being about 84"x32"x24". Big enough for a ray if I so desire.
