Hey guys...I have a 120 gallon tank 4x2x2 that's been set up for a while now and I regret getting a metal stand for it instead of getting a wooden cabinet and a canopy, since I don't wanna take down the whole tank i kinda wanna build a wooden skirt so to speak around the metal stand. Does anybody have any ideas and insight in building this.....If you have done it or have a link that contains some pics could you kindly post it pls, would be a great help ....thanks....

I don't think you should regret getting a metal tube stand for your tank- they are the best at handling the weight of heavy tanks.

I really like the look of mine - goes well with my black trim tank.

having said that, I have a link somewhere on my computer that documented building a wood skirt around one. I know I saved some pics in case I wanted to do that too (since my GF at the time liked the look of wood, but I wanted the strength of steel for my 150g soo..)

I will see if I can find it for you.

So you want to keep the metal stand, but jsut add wood on the side??? Because I build all my stands, and I use to sell them until recently because of time.. If you can send me a pic I can tell you exactly what to do.. And we can get your stand looking great in no time..
