Ideas on moving a real heavy tank down stairs

its 6/2/3 but is way heavier then any 225 just wanted to know how to move it. any ideas?

uhh empty the whole thing and have a lot of people help you and take your time.

Build a rollercoaster-like contraption to take it down the stairs, but make sure to add plenty of pillows at the end so it doesn't break. :j/k:

But seriously, the only way I know of to move a tank is what iloveoscars said.

put plywood on the stairs then put the tank on a skateboard and roll it down...
or get some friends to help and carry it

You only can have so many people on the stairs. So I would get a couple people down stairs . Put a rope or winch on it and lower it down the stairs.

Lotsa guys + empty tank + = success (maybe 5 guys? 2 on the top side and 3 on the bottom side thats headed down the stairs)

You could knock out a wall to get it down there

your tank is close to the same size as mine. how i moved mine was i built a brace out of 2 2x4's and some plywood, fit to the size of the tank, with the 2x4s about 18 inches longer on each size so you have a good handle to carry it. then got 3 of my stronger friends so i had one on each handle was about 90 to 110 lbs per person. was easier than i thought.
