i looking for ideas, thougths and suggestions on building a stand to stack 2 55 gallons on. all suggestions, thoughts and ideas will be well received... thanks...

Also interested in this. Trying to build stacked stands for myself soon.

I wish I could copy and paste from my phone but since I can't I'm just going to have to say try searching for it. There was someone who done one recently with a 125 and a 210 I believe, could be wrong on the sizes but they looked awesome. I want to do one of these one day as well.

I need to do a stacked 55, and also a stacked shelf for a 125 and a 90.

That sounds like something I would want to see!

i built a stacked stand for my 5 and 10 gallon:cry:

lol no i would think you could design it yourself using ideas from different peoples stands off of here. also there is the option of giving up and getting an iron double 55 stand off of craigslist. i know its not as fun as building your own but hey, wood aint cheap.

Are you looking for aesthetics? If not, you could do 2 stacks of cinderblocks(one left of the tank, one right of the tank) and then put some wooden beams horizontally for the tanks to sit on. Never tried this myself, read it off a site I can't remember :P
