I have a 125g cichlid tank and a 30g breeder tank. I want to set up my 55g with tropical fish because im sick of all my tanks being cichlids. I want a tank with alot of small fish and caves. Im thinking a red tail shark, 3 cory cats, 12 neon tetras, 6 glow fish, and more. I want 100% peaceful. No fin nippers like tiger barbs, silver dollars, mollies. Any ideas?

More cory cats! They like to be in large groups, they clean up left over food, very active, plus they lay eggs that other fish eat. Get sand for them.

I have a bowfront with hatchet fish (awesome), zebra tailed danios, bolivian rams, two rainbow sharks, two redtail sharks, and black neons. Totally peaceful. Will be picking up some cory catfish this weekend.

My Redtail shark can be pretty aggresive, id leave it out and do a Rainbow shark instead.
You could always add a group of 6 or so male Fancy Guppies for a burst of color.

My 55 at my mom n dads has:
2- Green Severums ( I know you said no cichlids)
5- Lemon Tetras
5-Serpae Tetras
3- Cory Cats
1- Redtail Shark and everything is great.
