Ideas to help Deters aggression and fighting?

I currently have Six = 4-5'' silver aros in a 240 gallon.

i think they behave most of the time, but i do see them fighting. anyone have any ideas to deters the fighting. i wanna take precaution before the fighting become fatal.

Other then separating them, no. You could add floating plants for the weak to hide, but when I did this with 5 baby black aros I found they each established their own little territory, I had smaller tank and smaller aros though. I would watch for any of them sitting on the bottom of the tank, that is definitely a bad sign.

my 15in arow nearly killed a 12in arowana that i introduced to the tank for only 2 hours. when i noticed that, i returned the 12in and got my money back

well im trying to do any arowana community.

it has been done successfully with silvers, so i wanted to give it a shot

Honestly that tanks not big enough for one adult silver, the fighting will probably just keep getting worse as they grow.

So theres no way to move these fish into a larger in the future? Isn't that your plan? Sounds like there has yet to be any fighting.

I just making sure he knows. ( I don't have that fish anymore, while I was on vacation the person caring for it forgot to put the weights back on the tank and itended up on the floor). it's much easier to build an appropriate size tank for 1 aro, 6 adults will need much more room. And my 360 is gonna be done in approx. April-may. (have the money, just waiting till after I move.
