ok im resorting to just asking for ideas, i have a established 125 gal tank that houses two gar that ive had for years they seem to not be affected at all but ive lost a tiger catfish, and three really nice plecs. in the last few weeks, my first thought was i may have ick so i turned my heater up to 85 and added salt as advised in other posts. also i am adding an ick treatment daily. my water parameters are pretty spot on normal for the tank just slightly acidotic. the water visually is very clear and doesnt really smell bad. i know that there must be something still wrong because all my feeders are dieing very fast really within a few hrs. normally i can keep a few feeders in there at all times with no problems. water changes have been done about once a week to two weeks. and two crawfish also inhibit the tank. any ideas on what might be wrong here im drawing a blank. my filtration is a fx5 if that helps
