Well depends if hes still bitting her and bugging her i took mine out as he nealy killed her but some males dont bother after they have mated .

yes he was still biting and annoying her, also i would rather move a healthy male than vunerable pups

how long should i wait after birth to introduce back the male?

i know that people say to move the pups to a nursery but considering ive taken out the male will they be ok with the female food wise or otherwise ?

when i add back the male is it a waiting game or will he attack the pups ?

does look like the male has been trying to get his way with the female. I don't really see any movement, she does look alittle plump. Did you just get done feeding her before you took the vid? I would give it another month or so before I would confirm anything.

yeh hey mate, good to see another aussie breeding rays!!

yeh it was a bit hard to see any movement in there? but it could easily be the camera
how old is the female?
few things to look out for signs of mating are.
1. bite marks on the females disk
2. sperm in tank
3. increase in appetite.

noticing any of these signs?

skylineiz gday

positive that she is bitten up
have had her for about 8 months in that time she has boomed in diameter and overall size(outgrowing male) not sure on age but maby 1.5 years
havent seen any sperm, and yes she loves her food. havent actually seen them belly to belly but he holds her rear paddles and it looks like he is trying to flip her while she attempts to sting him
i guess its touch and go as far as progress i will wait and see
