Identfy my Cichla

I stopped by a shop today and spotted a tank full of these little guys.The owner did not know what they were,he said he has never seen any peacok bass that looked like these and I am not very good at identifying young cichla.Anyhow,the markings really caught my eye and they were cheap enough for me to give one a try and see what it might blossom into.They could just be farmies,hope not though.
so,what do I have here?
