Can someone help me find the variety of pleco i got.

You got a hypostomus plecostomus aka common pleco.

not a hypostomus plecostomus. too many dorsal rays. it's a pterygoplicthys species. most likely a pardalis since they're the ones most commonly sold as "common pleco"

I have to agree with this...it still to small to be for sure but that's what it looks like.
