Can I get some clarification on the identification of this fish in the bottom photo: (not my photo)

The fish looks like a leporinus species (doesn’t look like a fasciatus), but could also be a younger distichodus species.
I’m leaning towards a leporinus.

I was thinking a Distichodus Sexfasciatus.

Midwater Midwater thank you but it seems like there are many many more bands on that leporinus than the photo I provided. I count 6 in the posted photo.

I was thinking a Distichodus Sexfasciatus.
That fish will typically have thinner bands before transitioning to a grey color.
A banded leporinus would have a more slender body than the pictured fish:

The yellow is also more prevalent at any age IME, though stress can change that.
