Saw these 2 fish (not the gourami) in lfs.

I want to buy them but I don't know their stats. Sorry for the picture quality only had my camera phone with me.

Any help identifying them would be appreciated.

look like brichardi an african cichlid

Thanx for the help. Looked like they paired of cuz they stayed close together the hole time

The larger one looks like a male. They are brichardi a.k.a. daffodil cichlids. they breed like rabbits

So, easy to care for?

Yep, Neolamprologus Pulcher (Daffodil Brichardi - Yellow Fin). They are easy to keep. What are you going to keep with them? I have never seen them in anything but Tanganyika tanks.

Here are pictures of a couple of mine before they went into my big Tang tank

Wow their really beautiful. Didn't know there were different colour forms

You will want to keep them alone. They are shell-dwellers, which means they spawn in shells. Keeping them with different shell-dwellers will cause conflicts since their shells are THEIR territory.

Sorry, got those mixed up they are SUBSTRATE layers. But it is advised to only keep with other Tangs not Malawian or Victorian
