Identify Please!

The reason i am posting here is because i dont know what region its from, so i didnt want to just post it in the CA/SA forum and it be from africa and vice versa. but im guessing a species of Tilapia? if so, then which kind? if not then what is it?

I really am not sure but it does have a tialpia shape... I am sure someone will chime in in pretty soon with a deffinate answer.

Its a nile tilapia. i have one, it grows fast and gets some nice color. I sometimes see fishmarkets selling them.

oh, if it's a nile tilapia they are very aggressive.

Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, can reach two feet and weigh up to 9 pounds.

but on a higher blood sugar way of thinking, i must get a very big tank then, if i cant find one i will have to let him go, thats upsetting. he's only 4 inches and has of chutzpah filled gonads of steel. he was beating on a much larger festae just now, i had to seperate them
