Texas
I bought it as a red texas, but after some reading.. I found some threads on MonsterFishKeeper and some reported that they might have been a mix up. I looked up Kamfa flowerhorns and they look very similiar to my fish, but I couldn't find any juvenile red texas pictures :o I already went through the "Petsmart now selling Flowerhorns and Red Texas cichlids?" thread and skimmed through the 2X pages or so. :WHOA:

When I first received him, I apologize for the poor quality pictures and him being in the bag still. :D

i bought one from petsmart that looked similar to yours. i kept him for about 2 months and his apperance stayed the same. he grew a lot tho. i ended up calling petsmart and pitched a fit because the fish was improperly labeled. they took it back and exchanged it for a flowerhorn at no additional cost. but as far as your original question. i have no cllue what that is but its DEFINATELY not a red texas.

Petsmart is selling some Kamfa Flowerhorns as Red Texas from Seagrest Farms from what I've read. Check out the Hybrid section, there are a few threads about it.
