I purchased these from San Diego, CA. Their supplier said they were wild caught from Lake tanganyika. No one has been able to ID. They are catfish but unknown as to what species. Any info or thoughts are appreciated.

To a quick look, these look like Chrysichthys species, Big-eyed African catfish, or Aluminum catfish, of midnight catfish, etc. There are many drab, non-discrete looking species in the genus. If this is the right genus, I usually don't dare to ID the drab-looking species.
The shape and their proportions remind me of C. ornatus but these are easy to ID.
