Identify the sex of fish

I am having a flowerhorn since the last 6 mths . It is Pearl Spotted Zhen Zhou. He is approx 7 inches in length. REcently I have taken the venting pics of my fish. I am attaching the pics for ur perusal. Also I am attaching full pics of the fish.

Hope you will help in determining the gender of the fish, whether it is a male or female.

Any replies, suggestions and comments in this topic will be helpful from friends and experts.

actually amit i have a question for you....how do I start a new thread, make a sticky or even find the stickies? is there a sticky section on this website? thanks. im relatively new here.

just login and go to the general discussion forum and click on that and you will find the tab in the right corner post new thread. Do that and you are on track.

Hey u did not comment on my fish whether it is a male or fem. Actually the webpage u suggested i had gone through before posting but it is quite complicated and hard to find my species.

hi friend thanks for the reply. any particular food which will help me to increase its colours and hump. Presently I am feeding with xo humpy head and srs.

By the way are u sure it is a male fish.

Grandsumo red best for color. Maybe chingmix is better to bring its hump, but not much difference. Head hump are brought out when fed high protein food.
