- There's a large one of these and two small ones growing. I did not put these in the tank. This rock has been in the tank for about 2 years and has never had this on it before.

- The purple plant looking stuff is what I'm trying to identify. It has been growing larger, slowly, but not reproducing in other places.

a bit hard to identify when the links go directly to thumbnails.
First picture looks like aipista anemone. pest. Do a google search on it.
Second might be some type of sponge or it could be a macro algae starting to grow.
Other than that you have a lot of hair algae. Looks like you may have a problem with your nitrates or phosphates.
When was the last time you tested your water?

Sorry about that.. Here they are again..

First picture, certainly aiptasia...Second picture is just a calcerous macro algae..

I would agree with the nutrient levels need checking.. The bubbles on things could be a sign that Dinoflagets is starting to set in...

lemon juice kills whatever you inject it with. and the first looks just like my curlycue anemone but then again my anemone looks just like aptasia in a huge light-pink form... lol the second looks like some kind of macro algae... also kinda looks like a coral lol

yea apistasia,,,not as bad as people make em out to be although they can sting corals. if you want to rid yourself of it, make sure you kill/remove every single bit of it. if you just harm it ,it will send spores(babies) into the water and they will grow everywhere. i have found it is best just to leav em alone.

dinoflagellates = (more or less) cyano or diatoms.. it's the same kind of stuff, but not really
