Identify this fish by description????

Someone dropped off quite a large fish at a petstore i work at, and I have no clue what it is.... I'm at work now so I can't take a picture, but the person said it was a dempsey.....but it has no color whatsoever. I'll try and describe it the best I can. About 7.5-8 inches the body is all silver and it has black stripes all the way down his body; he is sorta of shaped like a convict, has very big lips that have a sorta blueish color to them, and very tiny very pointy teeth. Sorry i couldn't give a better description, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dovii's might have teeth but not black stripes.

LOL! Missed that part....Then I would say Tilapia is my guess too...Maybe not a butti if it is really silver though...Pics would be great...
