Identify This Floating THING

I came home and saw this jelly thing floating on the water. It's about the size of a dime and does not appear to be moving. I was thinking maybe bichir poop but it looks way too big. Due to fear of parasite, I scooped it out and flushed it. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

It's left over food that fuzzed over...do you feed krill or shrimp??...def trash or flush it...maybe water change time aswell?

yeah i saw a fish at a petland that was fuzzed over like that. it was rather sickening.

I only feed Hikari sinking pellets and zucchini. At first I was thinking of uneaten food but the fuzz around it make it mysterious. You guys are probably right that it could be uneaten food.

defnietly the zucchini my cucumber does the same if it hides behind something for a day or two
