Identify this gar

just bought this guy, cant find what it is the store had it marked as a J something Gar. anybody know a type of gar that begins with a j?

That is a very small picture. It looks like a gator gar to me. A larger picture would provide more insight though.

Ya seems likes a gator gar. I'm no gar expert but the blunt mouths is a feature ic that a gator would have.

I never herd of selling Gator gar is illegal here! you can always go to some lakes or rivers where they live, and hook some !
