Looks like a Crenicichla sp. 'venezuela' but the pictures are blury so not sure. its got a tear drop under they eye, so it might be a type of xingu. Can you get some clearer pictures?

He's got a while, most of the time it will take them at least a few years to get that big. If you do plan to keep it long term though, plan for a big tank in the future for sure!!
