identifying atabapo 1 or 2

i have been reading up alot and cant seem to be able to tell the difference in them except 1 will be more red than 2 when adult. is there any way i can tell them apart before their adult stage? im buying 1 atabapo pike soon and would love to get the atabapo 1. anyone know how to tell them apart please let me know! thank you!

Atabapo II will have a ladder pattern, tear drop slit, and small spots near the tail fin even in the sub-adult state.

Definitely Atabapo Reds, not the Ladder Atabapos.
