1M 1M = 25%
1F 1M = 25%
1F 1F = 25%

50% chance u get a pair, 50% you dont. Don't think you'll get an accurate vent when they're small

Look at the place where they poop at. Male=o>, females=Oo...

I really want to say about 8" you can vent them.

Depends, you of course need to know what your looking at. 6" and up you could vent a cichal pretty accurately, there are threads on here with photos of different sp of both males and females, I'd start there if I were you. I've myself have posted vent photos in threads on here of some of my own cichla.
