WACO, Texas (AP) - A convicted felon who went on profanity-laced tirades in court and told jurors he didn't care if they gave him life in prison was sentenced to 99 years for stealing a cellphone.
If he didnt, and this was his first offence, then there would be a problem.
Its already a problem when a group of people choose your fate.
Humans are equal to humans. A group of people is not greater then 1. All humans are equal. Humans should not have the ability to judge other humans. it is impossible to judge "fair" because "fair" is a personal opinion... which means= its never wrong or right.
Unfortunatly this has to be possible for a system of laws. Without a god, there is no right or wrong. Therefore humans have to set these "rights" and these "wrongs". Unfortunatly each human has a different opinion, and therefore is never "correct" when in a subjective instance.
