Hi, I bought 2 IDs 4 inch each before a month in a new setup (I have no other fish). They dont eat any pellets or flakes. When new pellet is tried they does give it a try but spilout and next time just ignore it. I have tried three types of pellets (top /bottom). The strange thing is after 15 days i tried Corn (boiled cooled and cut in small pieces) and they love it and enjoy it very much.
They are still seems afraid in new setup and most of the time swim near a glass trying to escape.
I know Corn is not a complete food. But they dont eat anything else.

Try frozen bloodworms.

Like krichardson stated try bloodworms most finicky fish will eat them, but still keep trying the pellets.
