and you were only allowed to have one, what type of tank would you make it? Would you go for a mbuna tank, tanganyka, amazonian, asian? What would you stick in there?

For me, it would be an amazon tank, filled with geophagus and arowanas. Maybe south american catfish.
 
well how big is it allowed 2 be...i'd do a HUGE amazon set up w/ a red tailed boa...:grinno:

wait. . . if you just got ONE massive long tank, and divided it into sections, and kept all your various fish in it. . . . . would that still count? i figure a 12' long tank, 2' tall and deep, one 4ft section for the oscars, a 3ft section for bgk and bichirs, another 4ft part for amazon community (angels, tetras, catfish), and the last 1x2x2 for the guppies.

the goldfish can go live on craigslist for all i care.
 
This is a hypothetical question, no need to try to bend the rules.
 
For clarifications sake, let's assume up to 600 gallons. No divisions, just one open tank.
 
hmmm. . . lots of wood and rock work on the bottom for plecos and bichirs to hide in, and a school of oscars. . got the red tiger and pure black, have to add an pure albino, lemon, gold/bronze, and super red albino. a handful of various severums, and 30 or so giant danios.
