4x2x2 is the tank I need to fill. I have a choice of a Manuelli, Rhom, Gold, Caribe, or Elongatus.

I have never had a pirahna period and I hear from some they are cool as they come and then others who say don't bother.

I am very experienced with sensitive fish so not worried about anything but shear predator coolness factor. What species if any should I try?

get a shoal of cariba, a shoal will be more entertaining as compare to a solo serra (maneli, rhom, elong etc) if its your first piranha. serrasalmus species are very nice to look at but not everyone is willing to use 120g tank for one fish that may be some time to come out of its shell so some will find them to be boring, especially if you are under the impression produced by Hollywood, not saying you are but a lot of ppl are getting piranhas for that very reason.
if you can find a large serra, like a 10"+ rhombeus then you could consider that as well, at least it'll fill out the tank a little better than a small one and small ones grow slow after they reach 6" or so.

Grow out a baby Rhom. That would be awesome.

I think I might not live that long...

As JP said, the tank should be fine for either of the Serrasalmus, as long as you don't buy a 17" one. personally I wouldn't do cariba though, since in my opinion they need more space.

Whats your budget like? If you have money to burn I'd like to see someone with a shoal of Geryi.

Geryi? Are those Violet line? That was the first pirahna I ever wanted so great suggestion. How many could I keep?

275 a pop before shipping. This price is high although still not bad.
