If i were to breed say a strain of cichlid at my house would i get in trouble for selling them in my front yard?

your probably fine. no idiot would actually call authorities for selling fish without a license(unless the person had a bad day)
depends what state your in, florida for example have very strict laws and has your situation described in a FAQ and say yes you need a license

I dont think you have anything to worry about as long as the fish are legal, and Im sure the cops would have more important things to worry about
Well i was hoping to breed smallmouth bass or firemouth cichlids.
Im sure there wouldnt be any "profit" as all moneys would go to the hobby directly.
This is in south carolina.
I also heard that alot of tropical cichlids in florida died recently because of the cold.
I dont know what that has to do with anything but its sad. =(
