So i may have to get rid of my fish for now if my dad doesnt allow me to keep a tank in my room or basement. So if thats the case which i hope not cuz i love my fish I plan on geting another reptile. Right now i have a BD in a 20 gallon tank for the time being. I was thinking about getting something that could stay in a 20 gallon long or a large tote cuz ive seen reps kept that way. I was thinking about a sand boa. Thoughts and suggestions????

You could look for something that would still be aquatic. It wouldn't be fish but it would be closer to your original plan of keeping a tank with water.

make a 20g brackish with mudskippers, half water half land

...Maybe I'm not reading his post correctly, but - where did he ask for advice on his bearded dragon? Did he not in his first post say "for the time being" implying that the BD would be moved to a different enclosure at some point? Seriously, could there be one thread on this site that doesn't get turned into a "YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!" argument?

a sand boa would be perfect for a 20 long. you could get a corn snake or leopard geckos
