Hey guy's i have read a bunch of post on here about you'r ray's getting there as-es handed to them by other fish how is that so. I allways thaught that the ray's would be the dangerous ones with those stinger's why don't they slap the hell out of a fish dumb enought to bite them with there stinger and show them who is boss. Food for thaught just find it interesting that they get beet up and killed when to me they are more dangerous.

my ray stuck my old pbass.
the stinger was sticking out of his face for a week
he lived

rays did not evolve to be in a tank, where they canot get away from attacks......in the wild they would simply move on and there would be( mostly) no problem, hence their stingers are at their rear end and not on their front
Oviously this is true no fish or no animal is meant to be in a cage. I know i don't like to be put in a cage my self. Just stating a point it is oviously more of a weapon then any other fish have unless they have some serious teath. But also there tail is long enough to smash something messing with the front of them right in the face and i'm sure they have great controll over it just like a scorpion does. Any ways i see you'r piont in the wild they would run but just like anything else they adapt and i just don't see why they get stressed to death or get beet up when they can do some damage with one of those. Allso is a stingrays stinger poisoniss to fish to or just to humans or mammals food for thaugt
