big trouble once your FH mature bro. There will be bloodshed for sure.

you did not get the idea here i was trying out
no offense to you bro but there is some thinking i have done before i wanted to do this, sounds crazy but it would be cool

have you seen a group of Red devils kept in the same tank
or a group of jags kept in the same tank
or a group of cubans
i have kept groups of jags and also groups of cubans in the same tank and they have done well and continue to do so

i have been keeping FHs for some time and i know that their disposition does change as they grow and they might get hostile to each other but if this works out it will be a great tank to look at and am sure will be unique
anyways i have my fingers crossed and am monitoring every day and also have a 3 tanks ready for them if something goes wrong and they turn into logger heads

one thing i have observed in chiclids is when some other fish are chasing and fighting the bigger ones are usually calm and sometimes get the others to calm down as well

in this tank i have the little cubans to do the chasing around part and the FHs are doing fine with out any fighting or anything

once in a while the golden trimac tries to chase the RD but nothing serious has happened till now

here are a few pics to look at

the golden trimac has been a little scared after the move and hides as soon as she sees me but comes out as soon as i put some food

thats all
will take a few more snaps after a few days and let you know whats happening

I've kept groups of red devils/midases/mixed amphiloiphus species in small tanks when being raised together and they've always been fine but I've been keeping four 3-4" flowerhorns in the same tank and one of them just dominates the other ones. No attacking though because the other ones know their place in the tank. Add some fake plants to the tank and driftwood if you have it. It always helps the aggression and lets them set non-permanent territories.

that last flowerhorn looks to have great potential buddy!! I would keep a close eye on that one for sure!! It's going to turn out really nice, pearls are insane for such a small fish!!
