If you could have only one tank, say a 150, what would you keep? What would your set-up consist of. I see so many people with multiply tanks, with completely different setup and different fish but what if you could only have one?
I'll start:
I'd have my 150 with dual overflows with a huge sump running like 1500-2000gph. I'd have my sump full of mechanical filterpads and use dual returns with multi directional sprayers, some above and some below water to aerate the water and creat a good current. I'd also use two lifeguard900 BFBs for bio filtration. I like my marine land stealt heaters so a pair of 250w in the sump.Id use some dark sand maybe black, with lots of driftwood. Id keep clown loaches, yoyo loaches, madtom catfish, a peacock eel, a royal pleco and alot of neons.

Black aro, polys, royal plec, reticulated knife, spotted gar, RD silver dollars, SA lungfish...

I've always wanted to have a tank with just one Clown Knife.

couldn't do a 150 here. for one tank- 12'x5' for my Mira. or try to get a breeding pair. 7'x2' sump- fluidized bed filters, ceramic rings and every kind of bio media under the sun, a couple large pumps and returns, a couple big UV sterilizers. one powerfull but dimmed light to light 7-8' of the tank, with the rest darkness for effect of a true monster, large river rocks for substrate, a couple 35" driftwood peices.
small frezzer and feeder tank under the tank in the stand with the sump.

could think of plenty more, but that's it for the moment,

i would have 1 massive 10x4x4, (if they even make them) with a massive sump and put saratogas, bass, yella, eels, grunters, cods, perch, monos, scats. pretty much all aussie fish i could get my hands on.

unlikely size for tanks ussally sold in retail, but any size tank can be custom made.

i might also consider doing a SW monster setup. a really master reef.

I'd get at least a 500 gallon tank and 350 gallon sump with a 3000 gph pump. I'd keep a Barred Midas, Dovii, Parachromis, Silver aro, Carpinitis, Red Devil, Buttikoferi, Umbee, Chocolate, Festae, Trimac, TSNXRTC and some geophagus brasillenis.
