If you had 2 FX5's and a 305...

...what would you use as media?

The tank is a 225g planted discus tank. Please do not suggest other methods of filtration.

The standard foam in the FX5's with the bottom two baskets filled with ceramic rings and the top reserved for purigen...algone resins... occasionally carbon.

Run the 305 with all three baskets filled with extra sections of cut foam. (although personally I run a single FX5 on a 240 with no problems at all so I'd just do away with the 305 alltogether.)
