where would you go?

i'd love to be able to do like a 2 month backpacking trip starting from like madrid in spain and follow the coast of the mediterranean down to seville, barcelona, provence france, italy's amalfi coast, croatia, greece and ultimately end up in instanbul in turkey.

i'm seriously contemplating doing this once the economy shows signs of recovery. i think it's one of those trips i need to do before my life becomes too consumed with other responsibilities.

Europe, where exactly I don't know. Even though I don't like planes, and a boat ride there would be even scarier. So IDK how I would get there, but Europe is where I would go, lol.

5K and I had to spend it all in one place? I woudl go to LA. and stay at the hollywood rosevelt. that place is sweet. I've been there once before and Been dying to go back

Stick with the exact itinerary that you described. I've been in all those places minus spain and croatia. If you go backpacking and stay in hostels your budget is enough. A trans euro train pass for a month or so will save you money on traveling. If you have the cash now , I'll say go for it because everyone hurts and prices are lower (on a second thought wait until early fall since summers in turkey,greece spain are quite brutal)......I'm sure you'll get another chance to visit Montana
