If you had a million dollars... What would you do?

If someone handed you a check for 1 million dollars and said use it for you fish hobby what would you do with it???? GO CRAZY!!!!!


I would put a 10,000 gallon round aquarium in my finished basement of my future house. It would be 8 feet high and be in the center of the room so you could walk around it... All with my favorite freshwater fish and not all monster fish. Then i would have various 200 hundred gallon tanks around the house... the rest of the money would go towards upkeep and energy bills... Main fish kept, cichlids of all kinds, aros, gars....
 
i would spend it all in buying monster tanks, 500G + and give the tanks to people who can't buy big enough tanks for their monster fishes. i don't want any fish to stunt, i want all fishes to be happy.
 
i would buy a building and turn it into a fishshop. or 'lfs'as you guys like to call it. every tank would be a minimum 500g and fish would stock f0- f1 fishes. would build a show tank in the middle of the premises (50000g) and let paying customers to feel free to have a swim if they bought some fish. and if youcome to the new shop within the first week of opening and mention 'MFK' YOU CAN HAVE A FREE FISH. (up to the value of £3000.)

i'm going to go with the round tank too but make it saltwater and put brown banded bamboo sharks in it
 
Since the money would be for my hobby then it would cover a new home that would have a nice sized fishroom with skylighted ceiling for the natural sunlight to beam down on the various aquariums I would have.
 
well.. I'd pretty much do what johnptc or rkc has done.. or that guy in holland who welded some freight containers toghether, had a company sculpt it like a piece of the amazon and just stock it insanely! haha..
 
If I had 1mil, I would buy a beautiful house, but what I really want is an entire room in the basement(if not the basement) turned into a tank. Something so big I could swim in it, maybe make a terrarium sort of deal! Have a beach, with sand and a little wooded area behind for birds and reptiles.

Lawn chair, fake sun and a nice painted mirol on the walls so you feel like you're on a beach somewhere else in the world. Chill out with some refreshments and your pet iguana....




that would be nice. lol
 
i would hallow out my floors and place glass panels on the floor so i can walk on a top of a top view aquarium. stocked with rays perhaps
