i bought another oscar(albino red, i think they're called lunito) i told my neighbor about it and he wanted to see it. his daughters hampster had babies he brought two of them over and he put them on top of my fish tank, ther was a 1/2" gap on the side they were on(from where i feed them), the day before i did my routine WC and had it filled up bout 1/4"from the top and one of the hampsters went to get a drink and my oscar sucked him down head first!!!!!

its ok he wasn't mad he was laughing harder than i was. he wanted to leave the other one up there and see if it learned from the first one's mistake!! i tok it down. I'm going to the pet store and i'm going to buy the little girl another one since one of the babies "passed in it's sleep"

has this or anything similar happened to anyone?
please post the story if so!!

yeah we were shocked at first we were watching it drink. i saw my oscar start swimming that way but didn't think anything of it, he always investigates everything...then one quick nibble and it was gone!!

seeing as she can't get her leg that high she'd probably punched 'em (she's 4).

I figured she was young.. just a funny picture in my head... I feel bad the hampster met such a horrible death but glad you bought her another.

when i got home last night i saw a bunch of hair floating in my tank!!
maybey hi spit up a fur ball!!??:ROFL:
