Hey. Big on marine fish, moderately new to reptiles. Got a question, is there such a thing as too much humidity for a green iguana. I spray my juvies as much as 5-6 times a day. They seem to enjoy it. Anybody with evidence as to why i shouldnt do this?

Depends on the air flow/evaporation in the cage. If the cage is soggy or damp for much of the day, it's too much.

no they can swim, take it out a let it swim in a room temperature bath tub once in a while, unless it directly impacting the cage environment or creating mold it should be fine.

edit: i hope your ready for it they get huge i have a almost 4 foot one.

Yes there is too much moist and I beleave your overdoing it a bit;) 2-3 times a day is enough and dont forget all moist must evaporate before nigthtime, all lizards even the most moist loving ones, must sleep in dry condicions or blisters desiase will result sooner or later from that. Respiratory desiase fcan also result from a too moist stangnat air.

i spray my big guy once a day. if you want to up the humidity without spraying just put a small dish of water under the heat source or use a heating pad under it;)
