Will be interesting to see how this pans out........ :nilly:

I may or may not have told the truth regarding the "sheep"......

Really dig this lil Iguaza's attitude. Confronted by a trio of curious Armatus upon introduction and he just sat there till they were about an inch away, flared up snapped the jaws and immediately there's 3 feet between them.

Simply can't beat RARE FISH. :grinno:

Thank you Wes! You always seem to put the most interesting "ingredients" within reach for those of us that need to cook up interesting tanks....... Next will be an African toothed truffle.....

Your iguaza is awesome!

Thanks guys.....

I'm very thankful that Richard and Liam opened my eyes in regards to this species, and even more thankful that for 2 months nobody else wanted this adorable lil bugger. I'm very excited to have the opportunity to grow one of these guys out.

Awesome! You must have snatched up the last one before I contacted Wes about them. He looks great, can't wait to see him grow up and see how he turns out.

After seeing pics of Liam's and it's incredible resemblance to my Lac I contacted Wes to see if there was any left and there was one but it didn't cooperate with being caught so I just sent the loot and waited patiently...... Which worked out well cause I had time to save for some shipping box mates to ride with him, unfortunately they looked small enough for him to eat so the Armatus lost their grow out, but everything seems to have worked out so far.......

Except for the storm that has the power knocked out back at home right now, and I'm stuck up in Minneapolis for school, with my girl at home trying to keep everybody (fish) alive.:swear::wall:

Jeez, that sounds like a handful. Hopefully your power came back on quickly, I know my wife would be annoyed if I had her performing fish life support and hooking up my battery powered bubblers at home while I was out ;).

If you ever see any more of these available, shoot me a PM if you don't mind. I'm definitely on the lookout for one.

Damn DB congrats on the wolf, and hopefully the poweroutage didn't cause any major problems! Such a huge fear of mine, losing power and being at work, or away ... and you better hang on to that girlfriend of yours, she sounds like a gem!

Everyone lived......... Despite the generator that was dropped off being junk.

Thanks to drips ran off a hot/cold water "T", gas hot water heater so still had hot after the power went out.......

This girl cleaned the salt crap out of my 750 prior to it coming a freshwater tank....... She thinks my Aimara is "cute". Loves the Morays enough to name them. She rips the chord on a generator to run all the systems while I'm away. After the generator failed to ever work, she cranked the hot water heater, cranked up the drips and never allowed any of the 5 systems to drop below 72. Topped off what water was dropped during the outage and managed to hook all the water and air pumps back up to the wall outlets after all the drop chord, and surge bar outlets hooked to the generator failed to fire, after robbing them all in the dark after the power went out......

Definitely can't complain about the outcome......... Can't help but love a girl capable of supporting the life of the fish you love..........
